Be with Me in Paradise
These were one of the last words Jesus spoke on the cross as He was dying for the sins of the world. This words are also meant for you and I. We are all invited to share paradise with Him. This privilege is offered to all without price. In order to receive this free gift one must ask for it. This is a three step process.
The first step is to admit that you have not followed the will of God for your life. Don't feel alone . . . so has everyone else. We were created by God to follow His rules and have fellowship with Him. The reality is we have all decided to do our own ting. Instead of leading us closer to God, this lead us away from Him.
Step two is to realize that by yourself you cannot find your way back to God. God realized the situation and sent His only begotten Son, Jesus, to seek out all who were looking for Him. There was a penalty to be paid for our time doing our own thing. Jesus agreed to pay that price. It cost Him His life. But He loved you so much that He laid down His life that you might have everlasting life.
The third step is to commit the rest of your life to doing the will of God for your life. What is this you ask? It is different for each person. But as you spend time with God in prayer, reading scriptures, thinking about those scriptures and spend time with others who have decided to follow the will of God for their life God's will for your life will become apparent and easy to follow.
If you have to decided to you would like to follow God's will for your life talk to Him now and tell him that. In your talk with God tell Him you have not done what He wanted with your life and you would like Jesus to pay your penalty for time away from Him. Tell Him that for the rest of your days you want to do what He wants you to do.
Some basic beliefs we have as a follower of God are:
We believe that God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth.
We believe that God is light, and if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another.
We believe that God is Love, and that everyone that loves is born of God and knows God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
We believe that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life, and that whoever believes on Him, though he die, yet shall he live.
We believe that we are children of God, and that He has given us of His Spirit.
We believe that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all uncleanness.
We believe that the world will pass away and the love of it, but he that does the will of God will live forever. Amen.
